If there's one woman to stand up to
Chris Brown, it's Adele.
The self-proclaimed loudmouth
reportedly called out Rihanna's on-
again beau at the Grammy Awards on
Sunday, yelling at him for not
standing up for Frank Ocean when he
won Best Urban Contemporary
Album. Brown was nominated in the
same category, but decided to
remain seated while the rest of the
audience members rose to their feet
to cheer on Ocean as he made his
way to the stage.
In the above photo, snapped inside
the theater, Adele can be seen
confronting a sulking Brown --
although the cameras were unable
to catch what she said to him. Still,
Brown looked pretty taken aback by
the 24-year-old British beauty, who
is obviously not afraid to tell it like it
is.
Later, the pair was seen smiling
together, so apparently they worked
out the issue.
Brown, 23, and Ocean, 25, got into
quite the scuffle a few weeks back
when Brown allegedly assaulted and
threatened Ocean in a Los Angeles
parking lot. But despite reports that
Ocean was pressing charges, the
beloved singer decided to forgive
Brown, releasing a statement on his
Tumblr page saying that all he wants
is peace.
AS A CHILD I THOUGHT IF SOMEONE
JUMPED ME IT WOULD RESULT IN ME
MURDERING OR MUTILATING A MAN.
BUT AS A MAN I AM NOT A KILLER. I'M AN
ARTIST AND A MODERN PERSON. I'LL
CHOOSE SANITY. NO CRIMINAL
CHARGES. NO CIVIL LAWSUIT.
FORGIVENESS, ALBEIT DIFFICULT, IS
WISDOM. PEACE, ALBEIT TRITE, IS WHAT
I WANT IN MY SHORT LIFE. PEACE.
Obviously, Brown didn't get the
memo.
UPDATE: Adele has spoken out about
this so-called argument, taking to
Twitter to clear up what exactly
went down between her and Chris
Brown.
Chris Brown and I were
complimenting each other in that
photo actually!
