One of America's leading recording
labels and home to many US top
gospel artistes, Xist Music USA, has
signed Nigerian rap queen, Bukola
Folayan, popularly known as BOUQUI.
This came a few months after she
recorded 'Celebrate' with Grammy
nominee Da T.R.U.T.H who is also
signed to Xist.
Xist Music can boast of gospel acts
like DA T.R.U.T.H, The Ambassador,
Jahaziel, Sean Simmonds, Yaves and
N.F. BOUQUI is now part of the great
team as the first female and first
African on the label.
Sources say it's a bumper package
for BOUQUI as the deal includes
international recordings with all Xist
Music artistes and other relevant
artistes in the world, and an
intensive distribution of BOUQUI's
album and materials in the USA and
the UK.
That's not all; the deal will also see
BOUQUI become President of Xist
Africa, in a new partnership with her
recording label outfit "Bouqui's
Place Entertainment", and a way of
joining forces with Xist Music USA to
expand the scope of the business in
Nigeria and Africa.
An excited BOUQUI described the
deal as "another milestone reached
in the history of the Nigerian music
industry and hoped that the deal will
throw more doors open in the
Gospel hip hop scene internationally
with Xist Music Africa setting up in
Nigeria."
